Photography : Land & Sky : Frozen Reflections

Rain water frozen on the Winter pool cover created a surprisingly pretty view at night. I was fortunate to grow up with a pool in the back yard of my parents' house. I remember the lengthy process of closing the pool for the Winter, which involved dragging heavy sheets of plastic which we had dusted with baby powder in the Spring after we pulled them off the pool. Winter on the East Coast can be blustery and rainy, so water would sometimes collect on top of the pool cover and then freeze, since East Coast Winters are also frigid.
