Photography : Fauna: Hanging out at the Zoo
The most unexpected animals I saw at the zoo in Santiago were the cats. These cats were bold as brass, hanging out on the wall next to the condor exhibit, possibly irritating the birds by being nearby. Why are cats unusual? Chile has lots and lots and lots of stray dogs. If you see a cat, it's either someone's pet or a four-legged master of kung fu. Anyway, I have a soft spot for calico cats because their coats are gorgeous!
