Ducks paddle along in the water, while their wake alternates between the sienna grass and the azure sky. In the development where I grew up, the grates in the streets all drain to a large catchment basin in the middle of the neighborhood. In the Winter this is a great place to go sledding and ice skating. In the Summer it sometimes acts as a rest stop to ducks.
