Once in a while I will draw a dragon with scales. It turns into an exercise in patience and perspective. I drew this dragon, Starspyre, for a friend who wanted a blue dragon with huge wings and a fin on his head. He was quite happy with the result. I never got around to shading this one, but I rather like the effect of the simple colors.
