Photography : Land & Sky: Trouble from the North
Astronomers who are observing could be compared with sailors in that they keep a weather eye on the sky. This is taken facing Northwest on Cerro Tololo in Chile. Seeing weather like this coming in is not a good sight, but it certainly is a dramatic sight. Thankfully, these clouds cleared away shortly after sunset, and we were able to take data that night.
