Photography : Flora : Golden Tree
The blazing golden leaves of this tree are especially eye-catching against a background of white and gray. It might snow once a year in the Southwest, and sometimes that storm might drop a few inches of snow. On one of those snow days, I walked around campus with some friends and took pictures. The trees were in the middle of Fall, so the leaf colors were really bright against the snow (see below).
