A burrowing owl peers back at me from its perch on a fence post. I caught this fine fellow at the end of a long bike ride along the Rio Grande. I was so excited that I hopped off my bike and dashed across the road to take photos. Yeah, I take my camera when I bike ride, just in case I see something interesting.
